What is Nashua Child Learning Center?

• Safe Environment - appropriate play experiences that contribute to the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and aesthetic development of the child.
  
• Meaningful Curriculum - Learning centers and motivational activities that build important foundations for future reading skills and other academic pursuits.
  
• Smooth Transition into local School Systems - Nashua Child Learning Center offers its kindergarten students the same math and reading programs as the Nashua School Department.  NCLC currently uses the Everyday Math program and the Scott Foresman Reading Program.  Both of these programs are research based and provide excellent strategies for the five year old student.  Our curriculum is based on Christian values and includes specialty classes such as music, Christian Education and Creative Movement.
  
• Professional Organization - NCLC is governed by a school board.  A director gives overall immediate supervision.  Qualified Early Childhood Teachers staff the daily operation with para-professional teacher aides.
  
• Certified N.H. Lincensed Plus Status - The school is duly licensed by The Department of Health, Education and Welfare in the State of N.H.  In 2006 we exceeded licensing requirements by meeting Licensed Plus Quality Standards which now certifies us as a N.H. Licensed Plus child care provider.
  
• Religious Philosophy - It is our philosophy to provide an atmosphere in which young children may come to relate to God.  Age appropriate Bible stories and lessons are used in each classroom to facilitate this Christian learning experience.

Hours of Operation:

• Child Care -       6:30am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday, ages 12mos - Kindergarten
  
• Kindergarten -    9:00am to 12:00pm or 9:00am to  2:00pm
  
• Nursery School -   8:45am to 11:45am or 12:30pm to 3:00pm
  
• Vacation/Holidays - Open year-round (closed for major holidays)
  
• Inclement Weather - In the event of stormy weather, AND if the Nashua schools close due to the weather, there will be no classes for nursery school or kindergarten.  However, we will be open for day care unless extremely bad weather forces us to close.  In the event we are forced to close day care, we will notify WZID (95.7 FM), WQLL (96.5 FM), and WMUR-TV (Channel 9).  Nashua's late delays and public AM Kindergarten only cancellations do not effect our hours.
