PARENTS RESOURCES:

"I Want to Talk with my TEEN About Movies, Music & More" by Dr. Walt Mueller
In general when we watch TV or listen to music we tend to "mindlessly consume" the media, rather than taking a posture of "mindful critique". As parents we should be concerned about both the quantity and quality of media that our kids consume. Walt's new book, I Want to Talk With My Teen About Movies, Music and More is a great resource for parents who want to be more active in helping their kids become media literate and more discerning about what they choose for entertainment.

" Hurt, Inside the World of Today's Teenagers" by Chap Clark
The Youth, Family, and Culture series examines the broad categories involved in studying and caring for the needs of the young and is dedicated to the preparation and vocational strengthening of those who are committed to the spiritual development of adolescents.
